Information we process
- Account information, including your name, email address, verification status, roles, and alternate contact addresses.
- Mailbox information, including requested addresses, forwarding destinations, storage selections, service status, and account-to-mailbox ownership.
- Billing records, including Stripe customer, Checkout, subscription, invoice, discount, and promotion identifiers and payment status. Complete payment-card numbers are handled by Stripe rather than BlahBlah.com.
- Email messages, attachments, contacts, credentials in protected form, and technical metadata needed to provide the mailbox service.
- Security, audit, and diagnostic information such as IP addresses, timestamps, login events, delivery events, and administrative actions.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide and support email services, process billing, deliver service notices, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, maintain audit records, and comply with applicable obligations.
Service providers
We use Stripe for payment processing and billing management. We also use hosting, email-delivery, infrastructure, security, and support providers that process information as needed to perform services for us. We do not sell complete payment-card details because we do not receive them.
Retention
Account, billing, audit, and service records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Following mailbox suspension, mailbox data may be retained for up to six months before administrative review and deletion. Some records may be retained longer where required for financial, security, or legal purposes.
BlahBlah Rewards
BlahBlah Rewards uses a secure referral cookie on the account website for up to 30 days. We record the referring account, the purchased address tier, payment identifiers, and credit adjustments to attribute purchases and prevent duplicate rewards. Referrers see their reward amounts and activity, not the buyer’s personal details. See the Referral Program Terms.
Your choices
You may update supported billing details through Stripe Customer Portal and may request help correcting account information. Cancellation of a paid plan does not necessarily delete the associated account or mailbox data immediately.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, protected credential handling, audit logging, and other safeguards appropriate to the service. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated through the account or another reasonable channel when required.
